Grey Highlands Fire & Emergency Services is comprised of 1 full-time Fire Chief, 2 District Chiefs, a Fire Prevention Officer/Public Educator, a Fire Admin, 2 Support Staff, and approximately 45 dedicated volunteer Firefighters all of whom operate from two stations.

Station 1: 54 Durham Street, Flesherton

Station 2 houses 5 apparatus:

1 Pumper (Pump 522): a 2021 Freightliner Crusader Pumper built by Fort Garry Fire Trucks

1 Tanker (Tanker 535): a 2023 Freightliner built by Fort Garry Trucks

1 Squad (Squad 512) is a 2016 F550 is rapid response apparatus primarily equipped for fighting grass, brush, and other small fires. In addition, it serves as a personnel carrier for all incidents.

1 Pick-Up Truck (Truck 503): a 2022 Chevrolet 2500 it serves as a first response apparatus for medical and rope rescue incidents and as a personnel carrier.

Station 2: 200 Isla Street, Markdale

Station 2 houses 7 apparatus:

Fire Chief's Vehicle (Truck 500) a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500

SUV (Truck 501) a 2024 Ford Escape, the officer on call and fire prevention vehicle

1 Pick-Up Truck (Truck 502): a 2016 F250 it serves as a first response apparatus for medical incidents, transports RTV, and serves as a personnel carrier for all incidents.

2 Tankers (Tanker 534): a 2016 tanker built by Asphodel on a Freightliner chassis & (Tanker 533) a 2010 tanker built by Asphodel on a GMC chassis.

Pump 521: a 2000 pumper built by Hub on a Spartan Chassis.

Pump 523: 2024 Spartan Metro Star / Fort Garry ER

Station 2 is also home to a Grey County EMS ambulance and crew quarters.
