South to North: A Canadian Motorcycle Journey
GREY HIGHLANDS (June 2, 2026) - The Municipality of Grey Highlands is pleased to acknowledge and support an extraordinary cross-Canada journey taking place this June.
David “Tiger” Coward, a Canadian adventure motorcyclist and storyteller, will be undertaking a Great Lake-to-Arctic motorcycle expedition from Kingsville, Ontario — Canada’s southernmost town — to Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories — the northernmost community in Canada accessible by road.
The journey begins on June 2, 2026, and will take approximately seven weeks to complete. On Thursday, June 4, Tiger will travel through Grey Highlands with a police escort as he continues his route north.
Prior to departure, Mr. Coward met with the municipality and was presented with a Grey Highlands 25th Anniversary flag, a commemorative pin, and a certificate. The 25th Anniversary flag will accompany him throughout his journey and will ultimately be presented to the Mayor of Tuktoyaktuk as a symbol of the connection between Canadian communities from south to north.
This expedition will be documented as an episodic YouTube series through Tiger Coward Moto Rides, with real-time updates shared via Facebook throughout the journey. The project highlights Canada’s vast geography, remote road networks, and the communities that connect the country from coast to coast to coast.
Residents are encouraged to follow along as the journey unfolds across the country.
