Reduced Loads in Effect – Starting Sunday, March 1, 2026

Due to recent weather fluctuations and spring thaw conditions, reduced loads are required to help protect road surfaces from damage. Roads will be closely monitored, and updates will be shared as conditions change.  

Restrictions apply to all municipal roads, even where signs are not posted.

Enforcement will be provided by MTO and OPP officers under the Highway Traffic Act as per the Reduced Load By-law 2019-018.
