Public Notice – Hydrant Flushing

The Municipality of Grey Highlands will be flushing fire hydrants in the Markdale and Kimberley‑Amik water systems as part of routine  maintenance. This work will begin in May and continue for several months.

Residents may notice temporary cloudy or discoloured water during this time; this is normal and the drinking water remains safe. If you notice changes in your water, please run cold water for a few minutes until it runs clear. In some cases, you may also need to remove and clean the screen on your faucet.
