Council Highlights from the April 15, 2026 Council meeting

·       Council has appointed Colt Fawcett to join the community safety committee.

·       The Kimberly General Store has officially become a heritage destination as approved by Council.

·    Council approved a new Inland Lakes Water Quality By-law draft by-law. This will regulate the use of fertilizer on the shores of lakes, including lake Eugenia, Wilcox Lake, Irish lake and Brewster Lake.

·   Council has approved an updated Use of Corporate Resources Policy for candidates in the upcoming election. Municipal resources—including data, email, IT systems, and social media—must not be used to promote any election campaign, as this would create an unfair advantage over other candidates.

  • The zoning by-law meeting has been changed to a hybrid (online/in person) meeting. Any         questions regarding how your property will be affected by the zoning update, feel free to stop in at the municipal office April 21st from 9 am to 4pm to speak with a Planner.

·      Exciting new features are coming soon to Flesherton! Council has approved the design build for 4-outdoor pickleball courts.
