Agendas and Minutes

Dates for Council and Committees meetings along with the agenda and minutes are available on the Meeting Calendar on our Council Portal. The Minutes and Agendas for all Committee meetings are also available in Document Center. 

Council Meetings are generally held the first and third Wednesday of every month at 10:00 am in the Council Chambers located at 206 Toronto Street South Markdale, ON and available for zoom attendance in a hybrid format.  

Council and Committee of the Whole meetings are offered in a hybrid format, with all other Committees being held either virtually or in person only (no hybrid format available). 

There are several options when wishing to appear before Council. Please see the Procedural By-law for the rules governing the proceedings of all meetings of the Municipality and Policy A09-C11 for Electronic Participation. 

Communications addressed to Council

Communications sent to the Clerk's Office addressed to all of Council is either forwarded to Council via email, placed on a Council agenda, or included in the Council Information Package. Any member of Council may pull any item from the weekly Council Information Package to be placed on an upcoming agenda. Weekly Council Information Packages are available for public viewing here. Council Information Packages are generally available for viewing for a minimum of 1 year if not added to an agenda by a member of Council. *Please note that this does not include email communications where Council has also been cc'd as it is deemed that they are already in receipt of such information.
