Stick and Puck 

Adult/Teen Stick & Puck (Ages 16+)

Need more ice time? Stick & Puck is a casual skate for players to work on hockey fundamentals, improve skills, get exercise, and have fun. Practice skating, passing, puck control, and shooting drills.

Cost: $5 per skater

Rules & Regulations:

  1. Age Requirement:

    • Participants must be 16+.
  2. Payment:

    • All skaters must pay before getting on the ice.
    • Non-paying participants will be asked to leave.
  3. Supervision (Youth 5–15):

    • Must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on the ice or bench.
    • Adult-to-child ratio: 1:2
  4. Mandatory Equipment:

    • Skates
    • Hockey gloves
    • CSA-approved helmet with chinstrap
    • Full-face mask required for ages 13–18
  5. Permitted Items:

    • Pucks and hockey sticks
  6. Prohibited Items & Activities:

    • Food or drinks on the ice
    • Headsets, phones, or handheld devices
    • Slapshots (violators will be asked to leave)
    • Entering ice during flooding
    • Games, practices, or coaching

Reminder: Stick & Puck is for casual skill development. Focus on skating, puck handling, and shooting in a safe, friendly environment.

Stick & Puck for Families (Ages 5–15)

Work on hockey fundamentals and improve your skills in a fun, casual environment! Family Stick & Puck is a great chance to practice passing, puck control, skating drills, and more.

Cost: $5 per skater

What is Stick & Puck?
Stick & Puck is a casual, drop-in skate for players to work on hockey fundamentals like skating, passing, puck control, and shooting. It’s not a game or practice—just a chance to improve skills in a relaxed environment.


Who Can Participate?

  • Adult/Teen Stick & Puck: Ages 16+
  • Family Stick & Puck: Ages 5–15 (must be accompanied by an adult 18+)

Cost:

    • $25 Stick and Puck Card for 5 skates
    • Available at 50 Lorne St during business hours
    • Or call to purchase and pick up at any arena 

Start Dates:

  • Stick & Puck and Parent/Tot Skates begin after October 24
  • Public Skating starts as scheduled

Required Equipment:

  • Skates
  • Hockey gloves
  • CSA-approved helmet with chinstrap
  • Full-face mask required for youth
