Notice to affected Business and Property Owners - Recycling Collection Changes

The Municipality of Grey Highlands has mailed letters to businesses and property owners affected by changes to recycling collection services under Ontario’s updated Blue Box Regulation. Only those impacted will receive this notice, so please watch for it in your mail.

Starting January 1, 2026, curbside recycling collection will no longer be available for properties classified as non-eligible under the provincial program, including certain industrial, commercial, and institutional (IC&I) properties. This change is part of Ontario’s transition to a producer responsibility model for recycling.
