Building Services Department - Building Official

The Municipality of Grey Highlands is currently seeking a Building Official to join our Building Services Department. Reporting to the Chief Building Official or their delegate, this role involves conducting inspections, reviewing building plans, enforcing the Ontario Building Code, and providing expert advice on building-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in construction-related studies, relevant Ministry qualifications (Legal and House), and at least one year of related experience. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills are essential. A CBCO accreditation is considered an asset.
