Event Requirements & Regulations:

5. What types of events require additional permits or approvals?
Events that include road closures, alcohol sales, food vendors, amplified sound, fireworks, or large gatherings may require additional permits or permissions.

6. Can I serve alcohol at my event?
Yes, but you will need to obtain the proper licensing, such as a Special Occasion Permit from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), and comply with municipal regulations.

7. Do I need insurance for my event?
Yes, most events require liability insurance. The amount of coverage depends on the type and scale of the event. You may also need to name the Municipality of Grey Highlands as an additional insured.
