Special events within the Municipality of Grey Highlands require a Special Events permit. Depending on the event, a special event application is required for approval prior to the permit being issued. Please ensure the application is submitted early to leave time for processing and approval. By-law 2016-106 regulates and governs the holding of special events in the Municipality of Grey Highlands, and establishes a license system for special events.
When is a Special Events Permit Needed?
- Any event that is open to the public (ie: concert, festival, parade, bicycle race)
When is a Special Events Permit Not Needed?
- Any private function (ie: wedding, birthday party, sports tournament)
