General Information about Donations and CRA Requirements
Donating to the Municipality of Grey Highlands is a wonderful way to support our community and its various initiatives. When you make a donation, you may be eligible to claim federal and provincial non-refundable tax credits on your income tax return. Generally, you can claim part or all of the eligible amount of your gifts, up to the limit of 75% of your net income for the year.
To qualify for these tax credits, your donation must be made to a registered charity or other qualified donee. The eligible amount of the gift is the amount by which the fair market value of the gift exceeds any advantage received in return for the gift.

1. Online: You can make a donation online through Canadahelps: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/103523 The Charitable donation receipt will be issued from Canadahelps directly, and the funds remitted to the Municipality to be applied to the project as indicated in the online form
2. In Person/Mail: You can make a donation in person or via mail by filling out this online donation form or the printable donation form. Payment can be made in person at our Municipal office or via cheque.
