The [re]IMAGINE Grey Highlands community engagement project was a pilot project in the summer of 2019. Over 500 residents and visitors dropped into the 6-week downtown Markdale pop-up location. Feedback was compiled and shared with Council.
The next phase of the [re]IMAGINE project was intended to begin in 2020, by taking the engagement team on the road and visiting all our communities, and showing up in coffee shops, community events etc. However, COVID had other plans in 2020 and 2021. We are delighted to [re]engage with community by [re]launching our [re]IMAGINE campaign across Grey Highlands this summer. This concept for community engagement is a key piece of our economic and community development workplan and we look forward to continuing to engage in conversations about the future of Grey Highlands.
We invite you to share your ideas about growth and development in our community and invite you to share with us how you [re]IMAGINE the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
We hope you are able to pop by and visit us this summer. We'll be out and about in the community at the following locations:
Saturday, August 27th (morning) - Flesherton Farmers' Market
Saturday, August 27th (afternoon) - Markdale Fall Fair
Saturday, September 17th - Feversham Fall Fair
Sunday, September 24th - Rocklyn Fall Fair
If we don't see you in person this summer, feel free to drop us an email to ecdev@greyhighlands.ca to continue the conversation.
