Deadlines of September 15, 2022, December 15th 2022, March 15, 2023, June 15, 2023
The Municipality of Grey Highlands recognizes the many benefits that various groups, organizations, and individual volunteers provide by promoting and improving upon the cultural, social, and economic well-being of the community. It is for this reason that the Municipality is committed to treating all requests for contributions in a consistent, fair and equitable manner subject to local needs, priorities, and Council’s approved budget.
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for submission outlined in the Community Grant Program policy, and the requests must help address at least one of the following goals:
- Economic Prosperity and Innovation
- Cultural Enhancement, Environment, and Diversity
- General Social Enrichment
The organization must also be sustainable and provide financial statements with application.
If you have any questions about the application process or with the application form, please email ecdev@greyhighlands.ca or call 519-986-1216 x 113
List of Significant Community Undertakings |
Following a recommendation made by the Financial Assistance Program Committee (who are responsible for the evaluation and review of all applications made to the Community Grant Program), Council has designated a number of annual activities as significant community undertakings. This designation means that Municipal cash and/or in-kind support will automatically be renewed on an annual basis (pending the successful completion of a year-end report) and does not need to be requested through the Community Grant Program. Any requests above and beyond the traditional ask, can still be made through the Community Grant Program. Please note, this list is a starting point and is expected to grow as life returns to normal and annual events and activities fill our communities once again.
