- Council received a delegation from the Markdale Splash Pad Committee. Council directed staff to work with the Committee and establish a draft Memorandum of Understanding.
- The Grey Highlands Public Library presented its 2023 Annual Report.
- A delegation by Jackie Kilgour was received requesting to waive rental fees for an upcoming trivia fundraiser for a service dog. Council approved the request.
- Council approved recommendations from the April 24th Committee of the Whole meeting related to the Community Grant Program.
- Council received a report on the impact of additional arena hours for the 2023/24 ice season and approved the continuation of up to 32 additional arena hours/week for the 2024/25 ice season to ensure all Municipal arenas are open 7 days/week.
- Council approved updates to Schedule E (Environmental) Fees and Charges By-law for sorted and unsorted waste, contaminated soil, and the sewage dump station.
- The 2024 tax rates and corresponding Tax Rate By-law 2024-046 were approved.
- A notice of motion by Councillor Allen was approved regarding Parkland Dedication Fees. Council approved increasing the Parkland Dedication fees from $500 to $2,000 per new residential lot created.
