Burn Permits

Open air burning within the Municipality of Grey Highlands is regulated by an Open Air Burning.

By-law. A burn permit is required for all open air burning within the Municipality. Whether you are having a small backyard campfire or clearing your property of brush, a burn permit is required. Get your permit online at gh.burnpermits.com.

Load Restrictions

Seasonal load restrictions lifted on May 1, 2022. Thank you for protecting our road surfaces. 

Test Your Well Water This Spring

Spring is the ideal time for residents on private drinking water systems to get their water tested. Visit the Grey Bruce Health Unit website for a list of water testing kit pick-up and drop-off locations.

Rural Route Mailing Addresses

The Post Office is returning all mail addressed to Rural Routes, to ensure mail is received, please contact the finance department to update your mailing address.

Household Hazardous Waste Day

2022 Household Hazardous Waste Days are in Owen Sound on May 14, June 18, July 16, August 20, September 10, October 1 and October 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
