Council Highlights May 15, 2024

This is a summary of the meeting items and not inclusive of all agenda items. All items are contained in the minutes.

• There were two speakers for Open Forum. Barb Henry and Doug Alton both spoke regarding item 6.1 - Pickleball Club of Grey Highlands.

• Council received a delegation from the Pickleball Club of Grey Highlands requesting outdoor pickleball courts in Grey Highlands. Council received the delegation for information and asked for a staff report.

• An additional $25,000 was approved to install frost protected walls and relocate the nameplate monument for Kimberley Hall.

• Council approved several Financial Assistance Program requests as recommended by the FAP Committee. The full list can be found in the minutes.

• Council approved a turning lane design as prepared by R.J. Burnside to be implemented spring 2024 for the Markdale Brightshores Hospital.
