Signs have been posted at the Lake Eugenia public beach to inform visitors of the potential existence of Blue-Green Algae and associated risks.
Because of the potential risk, a swim advisory is in effect and has been posted at the beach. Swim at your own risk.

High levels of bacteria in Flesherton Pond may pose a risk to your health; swim at your own risk. 
Water sample results received June 29, 2023, show elevated levels of bacteria. 
Municipal public swimming areas are tested weekly.  Sites that demonstrate high levels of bacteria are posted as soon as results are received (Thursday of each week).
