The Municipality, along with the 2 active Chambers of Commerce, is participating in a Business Retention & Expansion Study which will assist in expanding local businesses and attracting new ones to the region.
Existing commercial, industrial and residentially zoned properties ensures that businesses and families can continue to grow and expand in the urban centres. The Markdale Sewage collection System is currently undergoing major upgrades to allow for future expansion in Markdale in addition to reducing operation and maintenance costs. Grey Highlands is host to emergency services, a hospital, medical & dental offices and is actively recruiting physicians to the area.
