Fall Colour Tour

Nothing can compare to the beauty of the Beaver Valley in the fall. Reds, oranges, yellows and greens surround you. Amazing! A constantly changing palette means that no two days look the same! This area is part of the Niagara Escarpment, UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Driving on any road in Grey Highlands will give you a spectacular show at this time of year. See the Grey Highlands' fall colour tour map with 3 driving routes. While out on the road why not stop at some art studios, antique shops and apple orchards along the way.

The Beaver Valley 'Take Your Breath' Away Drive

Everyone should see this view at least once in their lifetime. It will take your breath away every time. Spectacular at any time of year, in autumn it's at its best. From Markdale take Grey Road 12 east to Grey Road 30 and turn right. Drive down into the valley from Grey Road 30, suddenly the view opens up and you can see for miles. Don’t forget to breathe. Turn left at the bottom of the hill and left again at the next stop sign. Drive through Kimberley to Heathcote or right through to Thornbury. Stop for some juicy apples along the way.

Waterfalls

Waterfalls are beautiful places and more so in the fall. See information pages on Grey Highland’s waterfalls for directions and more information. Not to be missed!
