Skiing in Grey Highlands

Downhill skiing & snow boarding

Beaver Valley Ski Club is a private club offering skiing and snow boarding in a relaxed family atmosphere for its members. Check the daily ski report for snow conditions.

Cross country & snow shoeing:

Bruce Trail

The trail provides cross country skiing and snowshoeing opportunities. Trails follow the east and west rim of the valley and vary from easy to difficult.

Eugenia Falls Conservation Area

Located in Eugenia just off of Grey Road 13 ungroomed trails, form a loop through a wooded area. Ski beside a large picnic pavilion and cenotaph. Lookouts provide fabulous views of Eugenia Falls and the Beaver Valley. The first hydro generating station in the area, built in the 1890s by William Hogg, remains in the park. Suitable for cross country or snowshoeing.

Feversham Gorge - Madeleine Graydon Memorial Conservation Area

On Grey Road 2 west of Feversham. Trails are better suited to snowshoeing than cross country skiing. The 1.5 km trail loop follows the Beaver River, then goes high above the river. The gorge features limestone walls 80 feet above the river. Lookouts provide views of the river below, stairway to help access portions of the trail.

Flesherton Hills

Located behind MacPhail Memorial Elementary School on Campbell Street in Flesherton. The trails are well marked and pass through former farmland with orchards, woods and beaver ponds. The trials are ungroomed and suitable for cross country or snowshoeing. A downloadable map is available showing trails, beaver pond locations and other features.
